Cheerleading
Hands on your hips, a smile on your lips, spirit in  your heart, we're ready to start!

Westmoreland Pop Warner rosters four youth cheer squads.  We begin each season with large practices combining all four squads together, to help create unity and a sense of mentoring between the oldest and youngest athletes.  We spend quality time focusing on the basics of cheerleading stretching, moves, and most importantly safety.  All of our squads attend weekend games, prepared with a hello cheer, a goal post exhibit, a halftime routine and positive encouragement through out the entire game.   All four of our squads attend our Tri Valley Cheer Competition each year.  Our Young Flag Team, along with our Mighty Might Team participate in an exhibition style routine, while our Jr. Pee Wee and Jr. Midget squads compete for a placement and a chance to advanced into Pop Warner Semi Finals.  Our cheerleaders are taught safety and skills along with sportsmanship and are encouraged to be leaders in their community, not just on the sidelines…skills we hope they will carry with them though out their lives.
